The 2nd Annual ‘Keep History Alive’ Fundraiser for the museum will be held on Wednesday, September 12 from 6-9 p.m. at the Dowagiac Elks Club. The event will feature dinner, a silent auction and a live auction run by John Glassman, Jr.
Auction items include: tickets to sporting events (Notre Dame football and basketball, Michigan State football and basketball, Michigan football, Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions at Soldier Field), original Alice Lewis artwork, an 1870s quilt in excellent condition, gift certificates and goods from area businesses, regional trips and a two-week trip to Scotland and Ireland. Tickets will cost $30 in advance, $40 at the door and include dinner. The Elks will have a cash bar. All proceeds will go toward the annual funding of the Dowagiac Area History Museum.
