Description:
Round Oak Heavy Wood shipping box constructed on bottom and 4 sides of .81" thick wood with no top, sides attached with .25" flat headed nails, plank bottom has visible knot hole (1.19" diameter) near center and is both nailed and stapled to all sides, both long sides are stenciled in black paint to read "The Beckwith Co., Dowagiac, Michigan, one end has remnants of red sticker or label which appears to have said "GLASS", the box had been upholstered and used as foot stool which resulted in multiple nail and/or staple holes encircling entire box near bottom.
