Description:
This is a lid to an amunition box manufactured by the Round Oak Company. There are two pieces. The bowl—shaped and lipped bottom piece holds the smaller wing—nut inset. The wing—nut secures a smaller circular metal piece allowing for closure. The Round Oak symbol is indicated with the letters R O Numbers are located on two wings of the smaller pieces. The wing—nut also has numbers located on its' side.
