Dowagiac Central Park in the winter. The band stand at left was where Round Oak Band held its weekly concerts. The Civil War monument "Soldiers and Sailors" still stands in the park. The band stand is gone and buildings occupy most of the park itself. (Note: in the 1990s this monument was moved to new park on west side of town)
