Excavation for Beckwith Theatre and start of construction of sandstone structure. Circa 1890; framed. The photo shows the hole at the corner of Beeson St. and Front St. and has workers and horses working. Good photograph that shows the west side of Front Street from Beeson street south. Photograph probably taken from the building that currently houses Beeson Street Bar
