Round Oak

Postcard, pre—stamped with Thomas Jefferson on the reverse, addressed to a company in Farmington, Illinois, postally cancelled in April 1889 from Dowagiac; front side shows it to be a calling postcard for O.G. Beach, salesman for the Round Oak Stove Company, text reads, "Round Oak Stoves/P.D. Beckwith/Sole Manufacturer,/Dowagiac, Michigan/Will call on you about as usual/Yours Truly, O.G. Beach." Beckwith's name appears to be his signature but has been printed as part of the card as has Beach's signature. "As usual" has been handwritten.
