Description:
Portrait of P.D. Beckwith signed with P.D. Beckwith's name and "Died Jan. 1889." Mounted on board with the name McCollum & Cunningham, Dowagiac, Mich at the bottom. This portrait was deposited in the time capsule which was in the cornerstone of the Beckwith Building in 1892. Philo D. Beckwith is written at bottom of photo, possibly by Beckwith himself or by his son—in—law and Round Oak President, Fred E. Lee (Arseneau believes writing to be Fred Lee's).
