Photographd mounted on 10"w x 8"h black cardboard of the curtain in Beckwith Theatre. The picture seems to have something to do with ancient Rome. One man is sitting on a pedestal. Scantily dressed women and naked children are sitting at his feet. In background are two buildings with pillars. Publicity photo probably taken shortly after completion of construction. In gold lettering below photograph: "Curtain in Beckwith Memorial Theatre/Dowagiac, Michigan/By Albert, Grover & Burridge, Chicago./McCollum Photographer Dowagiac, Mich."
