Oil painting by Frank Freeland. Dated 1936. View of swimming hole on Dowagiac Creek behind Round Oak plant with group of nude boys swimming. View from S.W. looking N.E. Freeland was an artist and pattern maker who was employed by Round Oak for many years. He did many of the drawings used in ad brochures, product designs, painted the round Round Oak symbols for use on warehouse building, etc.
