Description:
18" Round Oak heating stove with lower foot rail, single lower body ring and urn. Very simple design urn. Winged dumbbells with rope design. Three mica upper window door. Stove was redone by prior owner: painted flat black and all nickel was replated. Stove is missing griddle lid. Has wood burning grate. Fire pot has cracks. Door pin knobs have been newly made——machined from solid steel stock. New mica. Stove complete otherwise. Drum body loose at fire pot, rivets loosened.

Dowagiac, MI, Cass County. Round Oak Company sold heating stoves like this across North America. David Hoger was the owner of this stove. Offered for sale to museum as he broke up his large Round Oak Stove collection the winter of 1997—98. Purchased for $550 (valued at $800)
