Description:
Very ornate brass gas lamp fixture from the Beckwith Theater. Fixture has a curved rod with a "jet" on one end and it is curled on the other end with leafy motif attached on underside, hanging ring attached near top. It is believed to hang horizontally with the ring facing upward

Beckwith Theater of Dowagiac, built in 1892. This fixture was an original gas lamp fixture that was salvaged from the building when it was torn down in the 1960s.
