Description:
A poster of a rebutal statement from J. Lofland towards Mr. Kingsburry, the Democratic nominee for Senator from the county, about Kingsburry's statement to various people in the county. It is long and wordy. Has names Mr Sullivan, Mr Brooks, J Lofland, W. G. Beckwith, Beeson and Mr. Kingsburry. It basically says Mr Kingsburry accused Lofland of saying to the superintendent of the M.C.R. Road, Mr. Brooks, that Mr. Sullivan was available to their interest. The poster is saying that is false, Lofland never said that. On the top of the poster it says LOOK HERE!! Then explains what Mr. Kingsburry said, then reads "Base & Miserable Falsehood" very large then explains Lofland's side. Bottom left has Cassapolis, Nov. 1, 1854.
