B/w mounted photograph of unidentified group of men seated on either side of a long cloth—covered table(s) with what appear to be beer bottles at each person's place. 37 men, one small boy and two waiters. Round Oak stove at right (E model with Doe—Wah—Jack finial, c. 1905—07). Hats and overcoats hang from hooks along left wall.

Identification of photo found on 3/24/2003; photo is of a banquet held by the German Lodge, Arbieter Feriend, at the Ohio Cafe (restaurant) in Dowagiac; the Ohio Cafe was located on Commercial St. at the site of the current Post Office; at least two men are known in the photo, Adam Stahl and Michael Skiepps(sp?) (father of Harry Skeeps); identification from clipping from DDN with caption to this photo that accompanied donation by Doris Wegner in 2002 of same photo (2002—0038.0037)—— clipping included in her Muniment file
