Description:
Framed photograph is 13.5"H x 15.5"W x 1.88"H. Wooden frame has been gilted with marbelized brownish tan in the center. Photograph centered behind tan mat. Four men in short sleeve uniform shirts with ties tucked into shirts which have "R" and "O" on chests stand in back row with arms crossed at waists. Center row has five seated men, the center one in dark suit, hand partially concealed in suit coat, other men in Round Oak uniforms wear knickers tucked into knee—high dark stockings.. Two men sitting on floor in front of them, arms clasped around one knee with baseball bats, chest protector, ball, mitt, etc. by them. In ink above photograph: "Round Oak Base Ball Association" and along the sides "Season of" and "1888." Below photograph the names of men have been listed and their position on the team.
