According to Leland Haines "Round Oak: A Good Thing From Doe—Wah—Jack" p. 190, this was in a parade in September 1908. The driver of the carriage is longtime Round Oak employee Edward Rice and the carriage was used by P.D. Beckwith to go around the shops (then owned by Archie Gardner).
