Description:
Stained glass window from Beckwith Theatre. Some clear glass, some stained glass.

Photograph 1988—0007.0059 has one of the two stained glass windows in this collection in it—— window is above the entry door on the left side of the image, which would have been the entry from the lobby area of the building in the main entrance on Front Street.
Dimensions:
W—60 L—33.25 inches
Date:
1892
Notes:
Beckwith Theater was in Dowagiac.

Jack Hartsell contacted Arseneau in January 2010 with information on the items. He said he and his brother took all the stained glass windows from the Beckwith Building and stored them in a barn. All but the two in the Museum collection were ruined with age, fell apart and pieces were sold to a stained glass artist in South Bend. SJA
