This photo is probably of one of the first Round Oak bands, judging by the uniforms. William Schuchert, band leader, is at far left in second row. The Round Oak Band, c. 1896. The members of the band at this time were listed in 1937. Drum major: Charles Heddon; clarinets: Lloyd Wilber, Henry Argabright, Ed Jones and William Schuchert; cornets: Harry Wicks, John Johnson and Martin Herold; alto saxaphones: Pit Van Antwerp, Jake Judd and Dick Best; tenor saxaphones: Frank Linsenmeyer, Al Robinson and Frank Ingling; baritone saxaphone: William Sprague; bass: William Finch; drums: Clark Finch and Al Huff.
