Tinted studio photograph, head and shoulders, of Christine Riekert. She was born in 1896 and lived at 205 West Railroad Street until her death in 1988. She graduated in 1914 from Dowagiac High School and first worked at James Heddon's before starting at Rudy Furnace Co. ca. 1920. She also worked later at the Dowagiac Steel Furnace Co. and for Mr. Graham Woodhouse at the Excel Corporation for a short period. Her father Henry Riekert was a long time employee of the Beckwith Estate and the Round Oak Furnace Co.
