a— Typed letter to Joe Ritter, Cashier, First National Bank, Cassopolis, from James F Potts, The Beckwith Company, introducng Mr. Lynn Adams representing the National Realty & Development Co, Louisville, Ky. Mr. Adams is planning to sell the farm of James Bond, Volinia Township, at auction on October 25. The bottom of the letter has bird's eye view of Round Oak Stove Company's building. Letterhead is "The Beckwith Company resources three million dollars, Round Oak Stoves, Ranges, Moistair and Pipless Heating Systems." Closing says "With very hearty personal regards, I am very truly yours, JFP"

b—Envelope is addressed to Mr. Joe Ritter, Cashier, First national bank, Cassopolis, Mich. Envelope has round Indian logo of Round Oak, postmarked Dowagiac Mich. 6:10 pm Oct 6 1922. Stamp is actually printed on the envelope, 2 cents, red, profile of a head (probably Washington).
