Description:
Round Oak welding tips kit. This was likely used by Round Oak Co. welders. It is a white painted metal box with six welding tips, rounded at different angles.

a— White metal box. Very dirty and rusted with chipped paint. Had two hinges, which are both broken, and a metal chain, still intact, as a closure. The top of the box has a Round Oak medallion logo attached, the paint is partially gone from it too. The inside has the metal chain welded to both the lid and the bottom of the box on the right side. There are 7 slots for the welding tips. At one side of the box there is another piece of metal with 7 little notches for the ends of the welding tips to rest in.
b— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 1"
c— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 2"
d— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 4"
e— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 5"
f— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 6"
g— Welding tip 7 1/4" long. Top end is rounded and skinny. Bottom end is straight, has a brass piece that would connect it to the rest of the welding machine. Engraved "Patented 7"
