Postcard, used to advertise for Round Oak Stove Company of Dowagiac; this is one of the "gold border" series of cards issued by the company and has image of American Indian atop a mountain, holding rifle and looking over the frontier, with one hand over his eyes; in bottom right corner, "Doe—Wah—Jack/Watching the Invader" and artist's signature in bottom left, surrounded by gold colored border; printer's mark in bottom left corner; backside has line down middle and square for stamp; on left side is image of Round Oak heating stove with information below; image from front has partially burned through to backside
